About Christina....

As a well-established piano and harp teacher for over 20 years, Christina teaches students at all ages from beginner to diploma level by using English, Cantonese as well as Mandarin. She is keen on incorporating music games and aural training exercises into normal lessons, creating an interactive and interesting study experience for her students. Christina encourages her students to take part in public performances, student concerts, and competitions regularly. In 2023, Christina has been graduated from the Royal College of Music in London with a master's degree in music education (MEd). She has been conducting music education researches to help with her students' learning progress.

Christina had won various music competitions, including the Hong Kong (Asia) Piano Open Competition, Hong Kong Youth Piano Open Competition and the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. In 2020, Christina got the 1st runner-up in Harp Open Class in the International Fringe Association Competition; Silver Prize and First Place in St. Petersburg International Piano Competition Preliminary round. Christina was invited to be the Teacher-advisor to give valuable advices to all performers in the "Hong Kong International Music Festival 2022" held in London, United Kingdom, .

Christina has been learning piano under Ms Abby Chung, Mrs Maria Ho and Dr. Pei Yushu. Apart from piano, Christina also plays both the lever and pedal harp. She was a student of Ms Melody Tam and Ms Elizabeth Hainen, harp principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra. During her time in the Royal College of Music, Christina has been studied with Prof. Ieuan Jones. Christina was honoured to be invited to take part in the Claremont project in London, to perform with her harp in community setting.

Apart from playing piano and harp, Christina shows her enthusiasm towards music by choral singing. She has been joining the choir as soprano since secondary school and was a member of HKU University Choir, Union Choir of HKUSU as well as the Hong Kong Oratorio Society. Christina has been participated in choral competitions and performances in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Apart from music activities, Christina loves cooking, hand embroidery and hiking. She also enjoys going to classical music concerts after a full dinner.
